MAGNETIC TIDES

THE INTERPLAY OF INSPIRATIONS

Every journey begins with a decision. The Magvely 50 was designed for the realities of being on the road—the transfer between time zones, the salty air on the quay, the overhead compartment at 12,000 meters. Its hydrophobic exoskeleton withstands the elements. The ocean-blue sanctuary preserves the silence within.

Your most delicate companions rest in the soft embrace of velour. The silhouette of the Magvely 50 stands, before it is packed – and after it has arrived. An architecture that defies collapse.

A magnetic shoulder strap. The magnetic field and the deep blue of our oceans. Three systems, moving independently, yet aligning to the same frequency. The Magvely 50 is the result of obsession, material excellence, and unique elegance.

DEFYING GRAVITY

SIGNATURE OF THE MAGVELY 50

The shoulder strap follows the geometry of the body — curved, it finds its anchor point from the hip rotation. Magnetic. Elegant. Precise. Just before it touches the surface, a soft resonant sound emerges. This is the moment when the travel artifact is complete.

It defines a standard that was previously missing. The diagonal line across the body gives the Magvely 50 its identity—its hallmark, which connoisseurs immediately recognise.

HIGH-TECH IN

SAPHIR NOIR

High-tech microfiber leather that splits incoming sunbeams into their spectral components: a subtle sparkle of red, green, and blue – complemented by turquoise and yellow depending on the intensity of the sun's rays.

Light. Water-repellent. Unique.

THE HAPTIC TRANSLATION OF THE OCEAN

PERPETUAL OCEAN No.9

The haptic translation of marine dynamics. Due to the oversized dimensions of the velour, gentle waves form inside the Magvely 50. This creates a textile relief that does not merely depict the irregularity of water, but makes it physically tangible. Every touch follows the gentle topography of a fabric that is under tension and yet yields to gravity with controlled opulence. The deep structure of the material captures the incoming light in the troughs of the drapes, evoking a visual play of ebb and flow. Thus, volume becomes movement, and the static nature of the object dissolves into the haptic rhythm of an eternal surf.

NASA footage shows the oceans as a moving membrane with currents magnetically attracting each other. This coherence gave the velvet its name. Among hundreds of fabric samples in various shades of blue, the perfect blue was number 9.

Another beautiful detail: Due to the playful generosity of the velour, slight waves form inside the Magvely 50. The haptic translation of marine dynamics. The fabric does not merely conform to the shape, but rather, through its free volume, unfolds a flowing vitality of its own. It is a deliberate devotion to detail.

It doesn't work without the details

24 Years Self-Managed

CREATIVE AND FOUNDER

Perfectionism is not a character trait. It is a judgment — one that is incessantly passed, inaudible to others, untenable for oneself. It costs what others would have long saved: time, sleep, capital, patience. And it produces what the path without it would never have produced.
The artifact that is as it must be. Immovable in its form. The artifact you hold in your hands tells the same story in twenty years as it did on day one. That is the only standard that matters.

THE GUGELOT PRINCIPLE

IN THE MAGVELY 50

In Ulm, Gugelot taught that system design means considering function and form in such a way that the result is an object that explains itself. Rams translated this into a principle that is now universally accepted. The Magno shoulder strap of the Magvely 50 is exactly that — a solution so obvious that you wonder why it didn't exist before.
